Tim Steele
Lead Discipleship Pastor
Tim is the founding and Discipleship Pastor of Cross Waves Church. Tim received a BA in Biblical Studies from Welch College. He has also received a Masters of Theology and a Masters of Divinity from Liberty University. He and his wife Terri have two adult children and one granddaughter.
Throughout Tim’s life, he has been a bi-vocational pastor, so he has been a pastor, church planter, author, sales trainer, stockbroker, market researcher, professional comedian and national award winning business owner.
Tim’s leisure activities include traveling and spending time with family and friends. Tim enjoys playing golf; he also enjoys the woods and lakes where he hunts and fishes for his golf balls.

Dan Joseph
Associate Pastor
Dan currently serves as the Associate Pastor of Cross Waves Church. He is a recent graduate of Liberty University's Willmington School of the Bible and is also working on his Bachelor's Degree in Biblical and Theological Studies.
Dan has served in local churches as a Deacon and led many group studies and classes over the last few years.
Dan lives in Michigan with his wife, Michele, and their daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys Northern Michigan, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, boating, and swimming with his family. He spent years in Software Engineering before going into Ministry work. Dan is also a KCBS Pro BBQ competitor with his own BBQ competition team called 40 Caliber BBQ.

Kevin Norris
Director of Technology
Kevin is the son of a preacher. Kevin studied music for two years at Welch College in Nashville, TN.
Kevin studied at The Recording Institute of Detroit where he received a certificate as a Recording Engineer. Kevin has earned a certificate in Broadcast Electronics from Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts and a B.S. degree from Siena Heights University.
Since 1991, Kevin has been a System Technician for AT&T. He served as Worship Leader at Stony Creek Church in Utica, MI and at Riverside Fellowship in Clinton Township, MI. Kevin also served as a Media Commission member for the NAFWB denomination. Kevin is married to Debby Norris and they have a daughter named Sarah.

Terri is the granddaughter of a New England preacher and has been working in ministry for as long as she can remember.
Terri served for twelve years at Eastside Baptist Church as the Children's Director as well as leading the church's praise team. Terri's strength is developing systems of organization for a ministry and managing the details.
Terri attended Faith Baptist Bible College and Liberty University to get her BA in Business Administration, and received her MBA from Liberty University. She is the Global Payroll Manager at AlixPartners in Southfield, MI. She and her husband Tim have two adult children and one granddaughter.

Jason Burke
Systems Administrator and Network Security
Jason is a technical support specialist with Sachse Construction in Detroit. Jason supports end users all over the U.S. in various area of I.T. including networking, hardware, software, and mobile support.
Jason believes that technology should make life easier for people, not more difficult.
Jason has over 15 years’ experience and holds a degree from Macomb Community College with a certification in Network Security.

Justin Nava
Director of Communications
Justin has been a leader in church communications since 2011. Through his involvement in Church Training Academy, Mr. Church Marketer, and now Nava Church Marketing, he's helped thousands of churches around the world increase their impact and make more disciples by making the church better known in the community.
Justin wants to see one million churches become the cornerstone of their community, and sees Cross Waves Church being an integral part of that vision.
Justin has a bachelor degree from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor and certifications from Church Answers, GrowthWorks, and ITIL.

Brandon Sesler
Southeast Regional HotSpot Coach
Brandon became a follower of Jesus Christ in 2004 after watching the movie, The Passion of The Christ. Since then, Brandon has looked for ways to share Christ. He has an online ministry for truck drivers called Road Dog Ministries. The ministry offers online Bible teaching and sermons as well as a Christian radio station. He is also a volunteer coach with Search for Jesus, a ministry of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
Brandon is currently studying at Christian Leaders Institute and has earned several certificates, including a Bible study leader certificate. He is studying for a Bachelor's degree and plans to transfer to Western Seminary to earn a Master of Divinity degree.
