Why Relationships Are More Important Than Rules

As we study Jesus Christ's life and teachings, we will notice that Matthew, Mark, and Luke only recorded miracles in Galilee. John is the only writer who mentions Jesus's miracles in Jerusalem. The miracle recorded in John 5 was public and performed on the Sabbath, inciting the religious leaders' opposition. Here, we see the beginning of “official persecution” against Jesus.
